Once a First Church of Christ, Scientist, this structure was the brainchild of Architect Spencer S. Beman, the protégé of Solon Spencer Beman, the renowned Senior. Despite his absence during construction, the church continues to stand tall, an architectural marvel amidst the flashy creep of its neighbors. It was given the seal of approval by the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.
