A Historical Gathering: Establishing Djurgårdens IF at Alberget 4 in Stockholm

Alberget 4, located at Djurgårdsvägen 124–140 on Södra Djurgården, has a rich history dating back to the 18th century. A stately residence was built on the western side of the property, which later became Alberget 4. The link to Djurgårdens IF can be traced to 1891, as John G. Jansson and a dozen others established Djurgårdens IF in a vanishing café at Alberget 4A, marking a significant milestone for the Swedish sports club.
