Disarray on the 38th Line: A Dark Comedy

A dark comedy ensues on the Korean Peninsula, a messy remnant of World War II, where diplomats juggle the chaos left by the busy Soviet Union and US, too busy with their own post-war chaos.

The Korean War wasn't just about Kim Il Sung and Syngman Rhee. It was a dance between the US and the Soviet Union. The US was too busy grooving in their post-WWII chaos to tidy up after. This left the Korean Peninsula in a shambles for the South Koreans to deal with. However, the US-imposed ban on strikes and the outlawing of People’s Committees dampened their spirits. US diplomats failed to see the ensuing chaos – a direct result of their decisions.
