The Morro Jable Lighthouse, nestled on the picturesque Canary island of Fuerteventura, stands tall and radiant, guarding the quaint town of Morro Jable. It was born in a year of enchantment, 1991, and has since reached its full bloom, ascending 59 meters high. Its exquisite beauty eclipses that of the Maspalomas Lighthouse on Gran Canaria and Pechiguera on Lanzarote, towering higher. Its focal heightsoars to 62 meters, granting it a reach of 17 nautical miles. With two gleaming flashes of white light that dance every 10 seconds, this beacon guides mariners across the deep blue sea. Yet, shrouded in mystery, it is oftentimes mistaken for its elderly cousin, 22 kilometers away, the Punta Jandía lighthouse.
