This enchanting dance hall, reborn as Police Station No. 2, was once the reflection of Cincinnati's vibrant spirit. Under the sparkle of its polished wooden dance floors and elaborate architecture, the city flocked for an escape into the evening. Alas, time reshaped the dance floor in 1912, a fire pruning its charm, leaving only its skeleton. Yet, resilient as it is, the following year, in 1915, it resurfaced, a police station, trading dance steps for detention. Policing the city became the new beat for this historic venue, continuing to contribute to the Lytle Park Historic District, standing tall as Police Station No. 2.
