The Husbysten rune stone, a 10th-century creation by rune engraver Visäte, stands at 1.4 meters tall and is imbued with historical importance. Located between Akalla village and Husby farm, it bears inscriptions measuring 8-9 centimeters wide, with a missing fragment at the top. Near Midslope, another unmarked burial stone reveals itself, scarcely adorned and hidden from plain sight. Diving into the records of the burial site and examining every burial in the same plot may offer intriguing clues about the individual interred in this unadorned stone.
