Built in 1820 by Laurent Philippe Robin, a pharmacist and owner of a sugar mill at la Ravine Blanche, the Villa Motais de Narbonne is a notable house on the island of Réunion. The building was designed in the neoclassical style and is located at 18 rue Marius-Ary Leblond in the town center of Saint-Pierre.
The property has changed hands among several families over the years. It belonged to the Chabrier family, owners of the sugar domain of Gol, before passing to the Motais de Narbonne family, who owned the site from 1911 to 1980. The house currently serves as the headquarters for the sous-préfecture of Saint-Pierre.
Since 1989, the building has been officially recognized for its historical value. It was entered into the additional inventory of the Monuments historiques on April 6, 1989.
