It is said that Bayt Al-Yahmadi Castle was built in the 18th century by Sheikh Hafid from the Al-Maskari tribe. It served as a refuge for the villagers during difficult times, and in more peaceful times, it was a residence and a meeting place for the elders of Al-Maskari.

The castle has a rectangular layout with a single slender round tower at one corner. It is surrounded by a low rectangular wall, in one corner of which is built a "majlis" (a meeting hall). In front of the castle entrance runs a falaj (an artificial, partially underground water channel) called Falaj Al-Ifrit. It was restored in 1989.
