6GJ4+3H Umm Al Saad Farm for Daily Rent, Ibri, Oman
Ibri Castle is one of the most significant castles in Ibri, in the Dhahirah province. It was originally built by the Nabhan tribe about 500 years ago and completed by a sheikh from the Yakubi tribe in the same century. The castle was restored in the early 1990s and opened to the public after reconstruction in 1995.
The Ibri Castle complex consists of several buildings, including a cubic building on the right side and a mosque on the left. The mosque of Ibri Castle is one of the oldest mosques still in use in the country. The castle has four gates: Sabah Al-Hara, Sabah Al-Barza, Sabah Al-Sinsilah, and Sabah Al-Ausat. In addition to its defensive purpose, certain parts of the castle complex in ancient times served as the residence of the wali of Ibri and the residence of the village judge. Ibri Castle also has two wells and a stable for horses.
