Lejsturojr: Ancient burial mounds and evidence of settlements in Rone socken,

Lejsturojr is an archaeological site situated in Rone socken, Gotland, around 1 kilometer north of Ronehamn. The site encompasses a burial mound, crafted from gray stone, standing approximately 4 meters high and spanning approximately 40 meters in diameter. Approximately 200 meters south of Lejsturojr, a larger burial mound emerges, likewise dating back to the Bronze Age. Evidence of extensive settlements surrounds both burial mounds. North of Lejsturojr, on Lejstuänge and Ajuängar, two groups of housing foundations from the Iron Age can be found. These farms are linked to an extensive system of stone fences, with a smaller area of prehistoric fields found in the west. About 50 meters east of Lejsturojr, a smaller burial field from the Iron Age can be discovered.
