Dubary-Kapy are the fourth gates from the Naryn-Kala citadel among the surviving gates on the southern city wall. They led to the lower part of the city – Dubary. Although the architectural form and masonry of the gates strongly resemble the Orta-Kapy gates, they are clearly of later origin. Experts date them to the 16th-17th centuries. The gate’s vault was replaced with a semicircular one in the 2000s during repair and restoration work; however, in photographs from 1914, they had a pointed shape similar to the vault of Orta-Kapy. The pointed arch itself, soaring upwards, was a true decoration of the fortress. The vaults located behind it within the thickness of the walls, which have barely survived to this day, testify that the gates were rebuilt during the Arab rulers in the style of Bayat-Kapy, which took place in the early 19th century.Source:
