Dårarnas båt is a sculpture created by Sture Collin in 1990, based on the painting Narrskeppet by the Dutch artist Hieronymus Bosch. The sculpture represents humankind as a ship, driven without control towards destruction, with a crew of panicking dwarfs. It has three versions, placed in different locations across Sweden. The first was placed at the tunnel station Sockenplan in Enskedefältet in Stockholm, in 1990. The second, initially proposed to be placed outside Landstingsförbundets hus in Stockholm, was instead placed at Hornsgatspuckeln on Södermalm, due to the symbolism not being well received.
It was acquired by Eva Bonniers donationsnämnd and donated to the city of Stockholm in 1992. The third version was installed in Vasaparken, Västerås, in conjunction with the construction of Västerås concert hall in 2001. The Sockenplan and Hornsgatspuckeln versions are made of concrete (the boat) and bronze (the dwarfs).
