Welcome to Bergmancenter, a museum located on Fårö, a small island off the southeastern coast of Sweden. Established in 2009, Bergmancenter is a cultural institution that serves as a hub for preserving the works of one of Sweden's most legendary filmmakers, Ingmar Bergman. The center is housed in a combination of a modern building from 1949 and an original folk school building from the 1820s (Gazeliska house). During the annual Bergman Week, Bergmancenter comes alive with events, exhibitions, and screenings that celebrate Bergman's movies.
