The Armenian-inspired Chapel, currently used as an artist's studio, is located in Solna commune. Listed as a built heritage site in 2012, it was built by Ohan Demirgian, an Armenian born in Egypt who was a stablemaster for King Charles XV at Ulriksdals slott. Leasing Överjärva gård from 1870 to 1873, Demirgian built this unique wooden building with panel architecture, wooden carpentry, and an interior reminiscent of the East. Although inspired by churches in Armenia, it is in fact an Egyptian palace design.
