Bellmanstatyn, created in 1872 by Alfred Nyström, is a statue representing Carl Michael Bellman. It is located on Hasselbacken, Södra Djurgården and near Kräftriket, both in Stockholm. The statue shows a sitting Bellman with his lute on a high granite pedestal.

Bellmanstatyn, created in 1872 by Alfred Nyström, is a statue representing Carl Michael Bellman. This hypothesis was Nyström's debut work and was highly appreciated. In the early stages, Nyström received a commission to create this statue in bronzed zinc. August Strindberg sat as a model for the statue. Nyström was acquainted with Strindberg and is referred to as Albert in Strindberg's autobiographical novel Tjänstekvinnans son. Today, Bellmanstatyn can be found on Hasselbacken, with a replica at Kräftriket overlooking Brunnsviken.
