The Ashford Mill in Death Valley

Located in Death Valley National Park, the Ashford Mill was a processing site built by brothers in 1914 to handle ore from the Golden Treasure Mine.

Ashford Mill is a former mill in Inyo County, California. It was located in Death Valley at an elevation of 121 feet (37 m) below sea level. The site is now protected ruins within Death Valley National Park.

The original mill at the site was built in 1914 by brothers named Ashford. The ore was processed here from the Golden Treasure Mine located 5 miles to the east in the Amargosa Range.

The site was used to process the ore for further smelting. Today, the remains of the structure stand as a protected historic site in the desert landscape.
