In the interiors, the metal balconies, plaster, colored stained glass and flooring reminiscent of a bright Eastern carpet have been preserved. Architect Dmitry Kryzhovanny drove and lived in one of the apartments of this house - as if trying to test the quality of the construction on himself.
A large granite tower at the corner was crowned with a roof and lantern with a spire. The top of the tower was destroyed several years ago, it is being restored now. In the building's facade, gray and pink granite is used. The facade of the building up to two floors is lined with stone slabs of rocky texture. The doors of the building are made of the same granite, but unlike the facade they are smooth and decorated with carved reliefs. The building was awarded a silver medal at the facade competition in 1912.
In terms of style, the building is similar to northern modernism and German architecture. The courtyard is open to Professor Popova Street.
