Way back in 1991, Beverly Pepper, a creative soul hailing from Brooklyn, New York, crafted Cleopatra's Wedge, a 18-foot tall beast made of Cor-ten steel. This tough cookie was fashioned from the rubble of an old highway patch. Since then, it's clocked quite a journey - from NYC's Battery Park to Chicago's Navy Pier, Florence, Paris, and now Milwaukee's Burns Commons. Despite its nomadic lifestyle, Cleopatra's Wedge has found a permanent spot in Milwaukee.
