Al moving recently married Per-Anders Fogelström with his wife to a one-room apartment on the first floor of Polhemsgatan 11. When the days are not enough, he writes at night in the well-equipped bathroom. During the time on Polhemsgatan, Fogelström writes, among other things, in the Summer with Monika, which later becomes a very well-noticed film under the direction of Ingmar Bergman. It is also here that Fogelström seriously begins to be interested in Stockholm and its history.
