The Wishing Tree is a monument located in the center of Kronstadt. The attraction appeared on the island in 2004. Local blacksmiths from the construction company "Irina" gifted the structure to the city in honor of its 300th anniversary. This remarkable object attracts attention not only from the native residents but also from numerous tourists.

The four-meter sculpture is made of cast iron and is crafted in the form of a whimsical tree with a wide smile, a large ear, and a nose shaped like a knot. Three owls are hidden in the metal crown. They hold plaques inscribed with the words "Health," "Love," and "Success." These are precisely the words most often spoken in the wishes of those who come here seeking a miracle! Opposite the tree stands a tiny fawn.

Finding the tree is simple: it is located near the grille of the Obvodny Canal on Karl Marx Street, not far from the intersection with Sovetskaya Street. Next to this unusual creation is the Alexandrovsky Garden. First of all, you will need a sheet of paper and a pen. Write down your dream and wrap a 5-ruble coin in the paper. Now you need to toss the prepared bundle into the bird’s hollow. This is not so easy, as the hole is at the very top of the monument!

After hitting the target, you must run three circles around the sculpture, approach the cast iron ear, and whisper your cherished wish into it. Did you hear the light ringing of bells? This means your hopes will surely come true!

For maximum effect, locals recommend riding the fawn and rubbing its nose.

The key to success is sincerity and purity of thought. After all, the kind-hearted tree and the forest creature fulfill only the most intimate wishes that will not harm others.
