A colorful end exterior mosaic can be seen on the building of the former dormitory of the bicycle factory on Lenin Street. Its specialists from the Leningrad Production Art Combine at the Academy of Arts assembled it from "carpets" – mosaic blanks made using the reverse method.
The mosaic's theme is typical of Soviet art: it depicts an installer, a female crane operator climbing into the crane cabin, slingers holding a slab on outstretched arms, and other colorful characters of the industrial age.
