Samara is a wonderful city for tourism and strolls. The city actively developed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, so in the historic center you will find many whimsical buildings in the Art Nouveau style. The city is quite clean and tidy, with a variety of hotels—both budget and more upscale—and places to sit and enjoy the local Zhigulevskoye beer.
As for the beautiful Volga River, there’s no need to say much. You can walk along the embankment or take a boat ride.
