The Sotopalacios railway station in Spain was built in 1928 and served as a stop on the Iberian-gauge Santander-Mediterranean railway. It operated until 1981, when it was downgraded to a halt. After cessation of service due to the closure of the Santander-Mediterranean line in 1985, the station was left abandoned for decades. In August 2022, Adif handed over the installations to the municipality, who commenced the restoration of the buildings and environment.
