Tre'r Ceiri, meaning 'Town of Giants', is an archaeological site situated high above sea level on the Llŷn Peninsula in Ceredigion, Wales. It covers an area of about 2.5 hectares and is one of the most important historical sites in Wales. It was likely built by the local Celtic population around 200 BC and reached its peak during the Roman period. The site is surrounded by a perimeter of stone walls, with a shape similar to an extended oval, measuring 289 by 103 meters. The exceptionally valuable monument was restored during a ten-year period, recreating the original construction techniques and the form of the Iron Age buildings.
