The Iron Age Battleground - A Hidden Remnant

This relic dates back to the Iron Age, around the 13th century, a time marked by early civilizational transformations and tribal conflicts. The hillfort and its entrance mound were created using earth and stone, hinting at the era's defense-oriented mindset. The entrance, guarded by an 8-meter-high mound, faces west, likely for sunset-to-sunrise visibility. While many regarded it as a place of fortification, archeological studies suggest that 650 square meters west of the hillfort may have been a battlefield.
