In the department of La Réunion, an overseas department of France in the southwest Indian Ocean, lies the commune of Saint-Philippe. Situated on the coast of this commune, the Puits Arabe is an ancient man-made water well.
The well is located a few hundred meters from the pointe de la Table, which is the main cape to the southeast of the island. Nearby, there are also basaltic organs.
This historical building serves as a notable attraction in the region, representing the man-made water heritage of the area.
