The crumbling chapel at the edge of a lost village

Sant Martí del Castell d’Arcalís was a románic chapel, now in ruins, part of the Castell d’Arcalís. Some authors claim it was also part of Castell de la Mola de Baro, in the municipality of Soriguera, Pallars Sobirà. It is located about 825 meters from the town, to the southeast, quite high above it. Although the chapel is in ruins, it is still one of the few remaining remnants of a once-thriving village and castle, long-abandoned.
