The Flight of Rare Birds at the Landsort Avian Odyssey

The Landsort bird station, a non-profit organization situated on a small island in Stockholm's southern archipelago, was founded in 1988, marked by the start of ringing activities in 1977. This remarkable station has a yearly record of approximately 9,000 birds, making it Sweden's tenth largest, with 225 species of birds observed annually.
