Chillin' with the Bronze Brake-breaker in Milwaukee, WI

Swing by the impressive bronze statue, crafted by Mark Jeffries, on the north side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and you'll find it standing tall alongside Engine Company #37 of the Milwaukee Fire Department.

The Northside of Milwaukee is home to 'The Spirit of the Rescue', a public art piece cooked up by American artist, Mark Jeffries. This badass bronze firefighter fellow is decked out in the full nine yards - a firefighter's uniform and even shunning a pair of gloves. This? It's a heartfelt nod to the guts and grit of the firefighters we all know and respect. So, if you're cruisin' around the city, make sure to drop by and pay your respects to the Spirit of the Rescue. It's more than worth the detour.
