Located near Nîmes, the Roman quarry of Barutel dates back to the Gallo-Roman era. Inscribed as a French historical monument since 1991, it now lies in the department of Gard and the region of Languedoc-Roussillon. This ancient Roman quarry remains as a vestige of an ancient Roman career.
