JGHQ+PP Telchac Pueblo, Yucatán, Mexico
Next to the Pyramid of Kukulkan, there is a substructure with molded reliefs of human figures resembling warriors. Both have exposed ribs, no heads, and instead, there are niches where fragments of skulls were found. There is another human figure similar to the aforementioned ones, but on both sides, it has griffins, and the figure has wings. This indicates that there was a very important cult of death and beheading.

In this place, inside the niches, remains of an upper jaw and fragments of human skulls were discovered, indicating that they were used to hold heads covered with plaster, a practice associated with the cult of death.
