Giant aluminum Triangles now tower ominously at the intersections of N. 48th St. and W. Lisbon Ave, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. These triangles trace their origin to Chicago, the city of sculptor John Adduci. Waves bear the hint of a wobble, a sinister twist rather than a welcome, stirring questions among the strong structures of Uptown Crossing. The Uptown Crossing Business Improvement District, establish in 1995, covered the costs of their creation. The mystery remains: what drew these gargantuan, space-like triangles to Milwaukee? Why did Uptown Crossing become their destination?
