Standing proudly in the tranquil village of Bédoues, southern France, the Menhirs of Can have stood the test of time. Originally numbering four, only three of these ancient monoliths are left standing, much to the curiosity of onlookers. It's worth noting that these menhirs were granted status as historical relics by decree on June 5, 1941. The mystery, however, is why one of these stones is missing. These survivors, despite the absence of their comrade, stand undeterred by the march of time, serving as a darkly humorous monument to the civilization that constructed them.
