One should not think badly of witches: the word "witch" comes from the word "to know," "to be aware." Wise women can heal the body or soul even of those who do not believe in them. On the territory of modern Russia, there are still many so-called places of power, or in modern terms — anomalous zones. Our Christian ancestors often called them "unclean," while pagan forebears called them "sacred." In such places, ancient gods' shrines were set up, sorcerers and witches lived there, miraculous healings occurred, or, conversely, people disappeared. Esotericists believe that most of these places are located on ancient geological faults where strong geomagnetic radiation exists. Another sign of such places is megaliths — huge ancient stones and constructions made from them, as well as the exposure of volcanic rocks. The northwestern part of Monrepo Park is even called the End of the World. Miracles also happen here. There are testimonies of miraculous healings at the spring, as well as unexplained phenomena occurring in a through cave, which is called by various names: the Witch’s Cave, the Hermit's Cave, the Cave of Wish Fulfillment. Legend has it that the Witch’s Cave grants wishes — it is enough to make a wish and walk through the cave. It is believed that such a walk cures women of nervousness and hysteria, and gives men courage and fighting spirit. Overall, being in Monrepo Park contributes to the cleansing of thoughts and the calming of the soul.
