Taking a Leisurely Wander with Walk Like a River in Milwaukee

Peter Flanary's creation in Milwaukee's Riverside Park, Walk Like a River, ain't your regular shopping trip. It's a Ealthly expedition through intertwined bronze enclosures, bursting with Wisconsin's chilly stones.

Deep in the heart of Wisconsin, Milwaukee's Riverside Park is where you'll find a whimsical sight piece by local artist Peter Flanary, affectionately called Walk Like a River. This trio of one-of-a-kind sculptures entices visitors on an ol' expedition, each with its own quirky allure. Plonked in 2006, this art bonanza was a collaboration of sorts, funded by the Urban Ecology Center, the Milwaukee Arts Board, Murph Burke, and the Mary L. Nohl Fund of the Greater Milwaukee Foundation.
