Welcome to Château d'Esnes, a chilling relic from the 11th century, standing proudly in the heart of Esnes, Nord department. Originally crafted by Alard d'Esnes, this grand structure has borne witness to numerous families since its inception. From the Landas to the Beauffremez, each family left their spectral stamp, the Beauffremez significantly upgrading the main residence during the 17th century. These days, the château is in private hands, and while it's notoriously hard to get a tour, it continues to be the talk of the town for its intriguing past and, for some, haunting presence.
