Castellvell de Bellera is a ribagorçan village in Sarroca de Bellera, Pallars Jussà, Spain. Until 1972, it was part of the ancient term of Benés, Alta Ribagorça. The village is situated on a carena above the Valiri valley, in a place of difficult access. Castellvell de Bellera had a church dedicated to Sant Serni (Sadurní). It was known to host the annual Aplec de Sant Joan de la Riberola which was attended by people from all the villages in the valley. Today, Castellvell de Bellera is a quiet, abandoned village with only a few houses and the church remaining.
