Nestled in the rolling hills of Aiguaviva, Catalonia, Spain, the enigmatic Castell de Vilademany has stood since 1116. While only remnants remain, some vestiges of the medieval fortress can be found near Mas Forroll and the walls of Mas, which now houses the old chapel of Castell de Sant Jaume de Vilademany. The chapel, believed to be an extension of the castle, still stands, adorned with an inscription on the lintel reading 'Sancte Jacobe ora pro nobis. 1564'. Local legends suggest that the castle's origins might trace back to the 13th century and hint at secret passages and hidden underground chambers that may still be undiscovered.
