A medieval fortress in ruins: Brosso Castle

Discover the crumbling remnants of a 14th-century castle in Italy, bombed during the Tuchini rebellion.

Brosso Castle, a medieval fortress situated in the town of Brosso, Piemonte, Italy, lies in ruins today. Its impressive walls still stand near the cemetery, spanning approximately 60 meters in length and 15 meters in width. About 40 meters were occupied by the main building, which housed a large underground room, now closed for safety reasons. The rest of the castle's area was reserved for the tower, with a circular structure and an interior diameter of 7 meters.
