Another structure that reminds us of the common architecture of Chichen Itza is the Venus platform, which is a small four-sided foundation with steps on each side. At the top, there are still walls of a small temple or sanctuary.
In Chichen Itza, there are similar platforms, such as the Temple of the Eagles and Jaguars, another Temple of Venus located in the Group of the Tombs, and the Temple of Venus near the castle. Here, in Mayapan, something similar occurs; throughout the site, several similar structures can also be found.
