In the village of Àreu, hidden in Pallars Sobirà, Spain, lies the ruins of the ancient church of Santa Joan d'Areu. Originally a part of the Parrochial of Sant Feliu in Força d'Areu, it was later replaced as the main place of worship, but it retained its status as a chapel. Today, little remains of this historic structure, preserving only a memory of its past.
