Abandoned church burying ground where the bishop was once crowned

Sant Martí del Pui is an ancient Romanesque cemetery, now in ruins, located near the village of Ainet de Cardós in the Pallars Sobirà region of Spain. Originally a parish church, it was consecrated on January 4, 1146, not the entire burial place. Although the place is now a mere ruin, it was once the burial place for a bishop who was crowned there. The cemetery is situated on the southwest slope of the Pui de Sant Martí, near Ainet de Cardós. In old documents, the location is referred to as a city, but it was not the seat of a parish. The cemetery is a place of history and intrigue.
