Fredens Hus, founded by Ann-Cathrine Haglund in December 2005, is a non-partisan, non-religious organization based in Uppsala, Sweden. Initially named Fredsmuseum at Uppsala Castle, the organization changed its name to Fredens Hus in 2013. Its mission is to work for peace, human rights, and the equal value of all. Over the years, they have implemented various projects to promote equality, combat racism and intolerance, and teach conflict resolution and active citizenship. Most of their funding comes from project grants, donations, and the earnings from their educational programs. They are members of Giva Sverige, and their 90-account ensures financial transparency.
