To Fellini's fans, Fontana della Pigna (Fountain of the Pine Cone) would remind of Amarcord: the snowballs thrown at Gradisca, the raids of Scureza (the motorcyclist), and the enchanting descent of the peacock. The actual scenes in Amarcord were filmed in the reconstructed Piazza Cavour in Cinecittà studios in Rome (see story about Cinecittà here).
