Viggsö is one of the many islands in the archipelago surrounding Stockholm. What makes it special? Here, the ABBA couples - Agnetha and Björn and Benny and Anni-Frid (Frida) - and the band’s manager Stikkan (Stig) Anderson had their summer houses. The tranquil surroundings have been truly inspirational, and if you visit the island you can still feel it in the air. In Björn and Agnetha’s Viggsö house many great hits were born, including “Fernando” and “Thank You For The Music”. The house has often been filmed, but it’s privately owned and is not available for visits. There is a replica version of it in ABBA The Museum (https://reveal.world/story/abba-the-museum).
