Vasalemma (Vasalemma mõis) is a knight's manor (or in other words, a standalone estate with farm buildings, a manor) in Lääne-Harju Parish, Harju County. The manor's main house has been featured in Soviet cinema at least twice, successfully transforming first into a British castle, and later into a French estate. The first time it played the role of Fortescue Castle in the 1983 film "The Secret of the Blackbirds," based on Agatha Christie's novel "A Pocket Full of Rye." Ten years later, it temporarily became the estate of Count de La Fère in the film "The Musketeers Twenty Years After."
