Iron Boy who brings good luck

Trädgårdsgatan 2, 111 31 Stockholm, Sweden

In the backyard of the Finnish church in the Old Town you can find a small sculpture of a boy sitting alone and looking at the moon. This is Sweden’s smallest statue. People call him the Iron Boy and he is known to bring good luck to anyone who caresses his head or offers a gift. Not surprisingly, his head is polished and shiny and he is surrounded by piles of coins. He's loved by the locals and tourists, and on cold winter days they often bring him a scarf or wrap him in something warm and cosy.
